Babymoon

First and foremost, I would like to brag about my sudden ability (and willingness) to take something out of a box and put it together. I would also like to point out that I didn't give up halfway through and ask Sarah to finish the rest. I put together our stroller and car seat, and it looks and works great!

I have a stroller in my house. People who have strollers in their house have or are expecting babies.
We are expecting a baby. In 7 weeks. Wowzers.

Wednesday we got up and headed over to the condo. Dad and Yvonne let us use it for the week, and it was a great way to celebrate our anniversary. We called it our "baby moon" because it's probably the last long trip we take, just the two of us, for a while.

We bar hopped, (I had mock-tails of course) took naps, worked out, laid out on the balcony and read, went to the pool and just enjoyed being away.

We had a great vacation, and it's only Saturday! We still have today and tomorrow to hang out together.
On the baby side of things, I feel like a whale. And it scares me to think that I'm going to get much , much bigger in the next 7 weeks. I'm excited about working out and getting fit after he's born, but I'm also nervous about what a task that will be. I've never weighed this much before, and I'm worried about how hard it'll be to get back to my pre-pregnancy weight, and then drop 50 pounds from there. But, I'll take it one day at a time.

His movements these days are more like rolls than kicks. I can sit and look down at my belly and watch as something inside of me moves up and down, side to side. Sarah can feel it too, and some of my favorite moments are when we are lying in the dark with our hands on my stomach, just being close to him.

I'm 32 weeks pregnant. He's going to be here so. soon.

I can't wait! :)
