I had a doctor's appointment and ultrasound yesterday, and got to see Dawson again! He's so handsome! He was opening and closing his mouth, flexing his fingers, and moving like a wild man! I could just stare at the screen all day.
The doctor said he is slightly bigger than average (3.8 pounds) but that his brain, heart, lungs, spine, bladder and kidneys all look great. And I heard his heartbeat, which makes me cry every time.
I love him so much already, and love feeling him kick and roll around. I can't keep my hands off of my ever-growing belly,
and love having him so close to me all day long. I think I may have experienced Braxton-Hicks contractions today. They were like moderate period cramps, and lasted about 2 minutes. I had three different "episodes" with 5-7 minutes in between. I wasn't nervous or scared, I know it's just my uterus preparing for the big day.
I've been feeling great, slightly emotional every now and then, but otherwise feeling good. I'm SO excited about our baby shower this weekend!
My doctor appointments are every two weeks now, so I'll update more then!
