Sometimes it's still crazy to me that in less than 3 months, I will be someone's mom.
Paige, Carly and Ashlee threw the sweetest baby shower for us. It was outside at the sportsman's club, the weather was beautiful, and they had a whole book theme. The snacks they made went along with a variety of children's books, and they even let us keep a lot of the books to start Dawson's library! It was a great great day, and I'm so blessed to have such great friends.
We got so many wonderful gifts too! Baby clothes, high chairs, bottles, pacifiers, diapers, bath stuff, wipes, a dresser, a froggy floor mat for him to lay on, tons of burp cloths and blankets... His nursery is really coming together!
On top of having a wonderful shower, Alexx came over and took some really great maternity pictures! I love them, and I know I'll look back and be so thankful to have a collection of photos to show life right before Dawson's arrival.
Book you should definitely look into: Love You Forever by Robert Munsch. It will cause happy tears and memories for a lifetime. :)
