Concert of 3

Last night, Sarah and I laid down when we got home, turned off the lights, and just cuddled. We brought the laptop in and decided to sing to "nugget" who, by the way, has a decent sense of hearing now. We played Rod Stewart's Forever Young first. She laid down by my belly and sang along, and I sang too. The words of that song are so good. I liked at the end when he sings "And whatever road you choose, I'm right behind you, win or lose" and Sarah tapped my stomach like that message was going right to the baby. Then I had her play "Angel Armies" by Chris Tomlin. It's a Christian song basically about the verse "Nothing formed against me will stand" and "Whom shall I fear?"

I hadn't felt much baby movement all day, but with the music and us singing, I could definitely feel more pressure and flutters. It was great. I told her "Next time we do this, we should tape it" and she smiled and said "I did"  So now we have video of a sweet, intimate moment with the three of us. It was dark in the room, so you can't really see anything, but I want to save it so one day the baby can see how much me and "his" mom loved him before "he" was even here.
